Eagles' Paul Turner: Headed for spot on final roster

Turner has an improved shot to make the final roster after the Eagles released Rueben Randle and Chris Givens on Sunday, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

An undrafted rookie, Turner has been one of the few bright spots in Philadelphia's receiving corps this preseason, catching 11 passes for 99 yards on 14 targets. Following Sunday's transactions, it appears Turner and Josh Huff will join Jordan Matthews (knee), Nelson Agholor and Dorial Green-Beckham on the final roster. Turner probably won't be any higher than fourth on the Week 1 depth chart, but there could be opportunity for advancement amongst a shaky position group.
