Cardinals' Patrick Peterson: Sits out regular season dress rehearsal
Peterson (rest) did not suit up for the Cardinals' third preseason game Sunday against the Texans.
Analysis:
It's unclear why he didn't play, but Peterson will spend the afternoon in street clothes while Brandon Williams, Mike Jenkins and Justin Bethel assume the majority of the work with the starting unit. Despite his absence Sunday, Peterson is fully expected to be ready for the regular season opener.
