Jets' Robby Anderson: Scores in second straight game

Anderson started and caught four passes (on nine targets) for 65 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants.

Analysis:

Anderson was promoted to the Jets' first-team offense for Saturday's game in light of Brandon Marshall (hip), Quincy Enunwa (concussion) and Kenbrell Thompkins (groin) being injured, and impressed once again. The undrafted rookie led New York in receptions, targets and yards, while also scoring for the second straight game. Although Anderson's touchdown came during the fourth quarter, he's now totaled 10 receptions for 196 yards and two scores in the Jets' last two exhibition tilts. With great size, speed and production, Anderson seems to have everything necessary to make New York's regular season roster and push for higher pegging after another strong showing.
