Titans' DeMarco Murray: Strong showing Saturday

Murray finished with eight carries for 40 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Raiders.

Analysis:

Murray's work came in just over one quarter of play, continuing his efficient and effective preseason thus far. The veteran reeled off a team-long rush of 17 yards on his first touch, before later punching in from one yard out to cap off the Titans' first offensive drive. Murray now boasts 153 yards and two touchdowns on 19 preseason carries, giving him an eye-opening 8.1 yards per rush. With rookie Derrick Henry impressing behind him as well, the Titans have to feel good about their revamped running game going into this season.
