Jets' Bilal Powell: Four carries against Giants

Powell rushed four times for 18 yards and caught three passes for 16 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants.

Analysis:

Powell received time with both the top two offensive units, even though starter Matt Forte (hamstring) totaled 12 touches during his time on the field. Still, with seven touches of his own in only one half of play, Powell was rather involved himself. While top wideout Brandon Marshall (hip) being sidelined may have boosted Powell's usage, he still figures to complement the Jets' offense from his backup position in the coming campaign.
