Jets' Brandon Marshall: Held out with sore hip

Marshall was held out of Saturday's preseason game against the Giants because of a sore hip, Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Jets head coach Todd Bowles said after the game that Marshall would have played had it been a regular season contest. With Marshall highly unlikely to play in the final preseason game, he'll have some time to get the soreness out before Week 1.
