Ravens' Daniel Brown: Targeted once in win

Brown caught his only target for a six-yard gain in Saturday's preseason win over the Lions.

Analysis:

A 2015 UDFA and converted wide receiver, Brown looked like a long shot to make the final roster, but his odds improved Saturday when starting tight end Ben Watson suffered a torn Achilles. The Ravens are carrying seven tight ends, but with Darren Waller and Nick Boyle both suspended to start the season, Brown now has a shot to join Crockett Gillmore, Dennis Pitta (finger) and Maxx Williams (undisclosed) on the Week 1 roster.
