Jets' Robby Anderson: Starting in place of Brandon Marshall

Anderson will replace Brandon Marshall in the starting lineup for Saturday's preseason game against the Giants, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

Anderson caught six passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in the last preseason game, making a strong late push to earn a roster spot, according to NJ.com. With Quincy Enunwa (concussion), Kenbrell Thompkins (groin) and Brandon Marshall (unknown) all missing Saturday's game, the undrafted rookie should get an extended look with the first-team offense. Anderson could conceivably push for the No. 4 or 5 wideout role early in the season, as the Jets' depth chart appears unsettled after the top three spots.
