Browns' Corey Coleman: Held catchless in NFL debut

Coleman (hamstring) drew two targets, but did not have any receptions in Friday's preseason game against the Buccaneers.

Analysis:

Making his NFL debut, Coleman got the start alongside Terrelle Pryor, but Josh Gordon (suspension) replaced the rookie for Cleveland's second offensive snap, according to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal. All three got plenty of first-team snaps, with Gordon catching both of his targets for 87 yards and a touchdown, while Pryor had two receptions for just 15 yards on four targets. Despite the quiet performance, Coleman should have a chance to become one of Robert Griffin's favorite targets while Gordon serves a four-game suspension to start the season. Coleman and Pryor will presumably start outside, with Andrew Hawkins manning the slot in three-wide formations. Depending on how things play out, either Coleman or Pryor will likely cede a starting spot to Gordon in Week 5.
