Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of a groin injury Saturday, the team announced.
Kerrigan left his team's third preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills early in the first quarter with a groin strain and did not return.
The 28-year-old is projected to be the team's featured pass rusher if he's healthy. Kerrigan led the Redskins in sacks last season with nine and a half.
Rookie running back Keith Marshall will also undergo an MRI after suffering an elbow strain.
