Panthers' Greg Olsen: Warming up on field

Olsen (back spasms) is warming up on the field prior to Friday's preseason game against the Patriots, David Newton of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Olsen's status for the game remains unclear, and even if he does suit up, he's unlikely to get as much playing time as the other Panthers starters. He was a full practice participant Wednesday for the first time since the week leading up to Carolina's preseason opener. Olsen did play in that game and catch a pair of passes, so he's already gotten a bit of run this preseason. There doesn't seem to be any question regarding his Week 1 availability.
