Raiders' Nate Allen: Should start Saturday

Allen will likely get the start at safety during Saturday's preseason game against the Titans, Scott Bair of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

Allen figures to get plenty of reps throughout the Raiders' third exhibition contest, as usual starter Reggie Nelson (knee) will likely be sidelined. Allen has impressed throughout the preseason thus far, and he projects to play a key depth role at both safety spots upon Nelson's return to action.
