Raiders' Derek Carr: Will play first half Saturday

Carr, along with the rest of the first team, expects to play the entire first half during Saturday's preseason game against the Titans, Jimmy Durkin of the Bay Area News Group reports.

Analysis:

Carr should see plenty of chances to connect with his receiving corps, as coach Jack Del Rio wants to see his first team out on the field for at least an entire half. The less-than-stellar Tennessee defense figures to present opportunities for Carr to capitalize and gain confidence heading into the regular season. It'll be interesting to see whether rookie Connor Cook or veteran Matt McGloin enters the game first to back up Carr.
