Ravens' Joe Flacco: Expects to play until halfrtime

Flacco (knee) expects to play about half of Saturday's preseason game against the Lions, the Ravens' official site reports.

Analysis:

Flacco will take the field for the first time tearing his ACL in November, making what will presumably be his only appearance of the preseason. The Ravens have yet to determine if Breshad Perriman (knee) will play, but Steve Smith (Achilles) has already been ruled out. With both wide receivers recently activated from the PUP list, Flacco could have his full complement of weapons early in the season, if not necessarily by Week 1.
