Cowboys' Terrance Williams: Experiences discomfort in hand Thursday

Williams (hand) secured one of two targets for 11 yards in Thursday's 27-17 preseason loss to the Seahawks. X-rays on his hand after the game came back negative, the Cowboys' official site reports.

Analysis:

The Cowboys' No. 2 receiver had a chance for a bigger night, but was unable to haul in a second-quarter deep throw from Dak Prescott in the red zone. With respect to his injury, Williams reported that the hand, which he'd broken at Baylor during his sophomore season, had originally "flared up" on him during practice last week. Despite the negative results on the X-rays, Williams reported some discomfort, but it's currently unknown whether it's sufficient to keep him out of any practices this coming weekend.
