Redskins' Bryan Stork: Expects to play Saturday

Amid rumors of his potential retirement, Stork is expected to play in the Redskins' third preseason game Friday against the Bills, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Analysis:

Stork was acquired from the Patriots on Wednesday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick, but rumors have spread that Stork was considering retirement upon hearing the news of his relocation. However, those rumors will presumably be put to rest if the center ultimately does suit up for Friday's preseason tilt. Assuming he stays in Washington, Stork (6-4, 310) will likely take over starting center duties from struggling incumbent Kory Lichtensteiger, adding size and toughness to an already-solid offensive line.
