Cowboys' Elliott shows no fear driving into Seahawks' Chancellor

Kamil Krzaczynski / USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott needed no introduction to the professional game, confronting arguably the NFL's most intimidating defender without reticence.

The 2016 fourth-overall pick had seven carries for 48 yards in the first half before heading to the sideline with the rest of the first-team offense after halftime.

Elliott ran deliberately at Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor, driving his shoulder into the bruising open-field hitter.

Elliott attacked the Seahawks' vaunted defense from all angles and Chancellor, K.J. Wright, Earl Thomas, and a host of other stars struggled to bring down the rookie.

The first-round pick also showed great patience and acceleration during the first half, giving the opposition fits.

It may be early for a grand declaration, but it doesn't appear Elliott will be fazed during his rookie season.
