Chiefs' Charcandrick West: Ruled out Saturday

West (elbow) has been ruled out for the Chiefs' third preseason game Saturday against the Bears, BJ Kissel of the team's official site reports.

Analysis:

West was thought to have had a chance at playing in this one, but the Chiefs likely don't want to take their chances on the pesky elbow injury he's been nursing for over a week. However, all indications point towards West being ready for the regular season opener when the Chiefs square off with a Chargers team that allowed the 27th-most yards rushing in 2015.
