Browns' Josh Gordon: Set to take the field Friday

Gordon (suspension) is expected to make his preseason debut Friday against the Buccaneers, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

As is first-round draft pick Corey Coleman, which will give fantasy observers a preview of what should emerge as the Browns' top wideout duo upon the competition of Gordon's four-game suspension to start the season. While it's best not overreact to a player's efforts in a single preseason game, this will be the first chance to see Gordon in game action since December of 2014, thus adding a layer of intrigue to how he shows on Friday. As long as things continue to move forward in a positive direction for Gordon, he is a candidate to regain fantasy relevance as the 2016 campaign rolls along, though after his extended absence, and while working with a new QB (Robert Griffin), question marks do accompany his obvious upside/potential.
