Gronkowski returns to practice

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since Aug. 15.
Gronkowski left last Monday's joint practice with the Chicago Bears, but was able to walk off the field under his own power.
As a precautionary measure, he's unlikely to participate in the preseason - he hasn't done so since 2012.
