Vikings' Xavier Rhodes: Still out with hamstring injury
Rhodes (hamstring) missed a fourth straight practice Wednesday, Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Rhodes suffered a hamstring injury on the first drive of last Thursday's preseason game against the Seahawks and has been sidelined ever since. Considering he sat out again Wednesday, his status for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers appears to be in doubt, although we'll have to wait for further confirmation later in the week. Rhodes is slated to start opposite veteran Terrence Newman (undisclosed) at cornerback during the upcoming season, but in his absence, Trae Waynes, Captain Munnerlyn or Mackensie Alexander could see additional reps.
