Redskins' Jamison Crowder: Will not play Friday

Crowder (knee) will not play in Friday's tilt with the Bills.

Analysis:

Crowder has been dealing with a collection of injuries this preseason. He missed practice Tuesday due to soreness in his knee, and it appears Washington will play it safe and give the wideout the night off Friday. Crowder will be joined by rookie wideout Josh Doctson (Achilles) on the sideline Friday, leaving plenty of opportunities for bottom-of-the-depth-chart receivers to make an impact once the starters are taken out.
