Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Has solid day against Browns' first-team defense Tuesday

Winston made several impressive throws in Tuesday's joint practice session versus the Browns, including a tight completion to Vincent Jackson in traffic, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Analysis:

Although Joe Haden did manage to pick him off once and head coach Dirk Koetter expressed frustration with the offense's performance overall, Winston actually shined on several completions against the Browns' first-team unit. In addition to the close-quarters connection with Jackson, the former No.1 overall pick also found Mike Evans on a rollout on the left sideline and completed a deep pass to his towering wideout in double coverage later in the session. Winston will try to bounce back Friday against Cleveland in what will serve as the Bucs' dress rehearsal for the regular season after completing just three of his 10 attempts against the Jaguars on Saturday.
