Giants' Tavarres King: Could win No. 3 WR job

King's solid play in the preseason is pushing him toward a roster spot, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

This will be more relevant if Victor Cruz (groin) is cut. Reports on Cruz's last practice were good, but if Cruz's constant injuries prove too much from which to return, someone will have to land the team's No. 3 WR job, and right now King has the upper hand. Keep in mind King is 26 with only average size and decent speed.
