Cowboys' Lance Dunbar: Possibly out for rest of preseason

Dunbar (knee) is in danger of missing the Cowboys' final two preseason games, Bryan Broaddus of the team's official site reports.

Analysis:

Dunbar returned to practice Sunday in a limited capacity, but the Cowboys know what they're getting in the running back and may not feel the need to risk his health any further in preseason action. He's not a lock to make the roster at this point, but his chances are good enough given he avoids any setbacks. Expect the team to ease him back into action throughout this week's practice sessions.
