Foles had a big second preseason showing with the Chiefs, completing 18 of 22 passes for 133 yards.

Analysis:

Foles replaced Alex Smith in the contest and led the team for a large portion of the game. He appears to have distanced himself from the other quarterbacks on the roster (Tyler Bray, Aaron Murray, Kevin Hogan) for the backup job, and may have solidified himself in that role with this performance. Regardless, it would take an injury to Smith for Foles to enter the fantasy picture.
