Chiefs' Tamba Hali: Activated from PUP list
Hali has been removed from the Chiefs' PUP list and will begin practicing this week.
Analysis:
Hali will only return to action on a limited basis, but that's a good sign after missing Kansas City's preparations to date following offseason knee surgery. Although it's unlikely Hali will be involved in either of the Chiefs' remaining two preseason tilts, he stands a decent chance of being ready for Week 1, which has been his target all along. At 32 years old, Hali has registered at least 6.0 sacks in all but one of his 10 previous seasons in the league.
