Colts' Henry Anderson: Activated off PUP list

Anderson (knee) was removed from the PUP list on Monday, Mike Chappell of Indysportscentral.com reports.

Analysis:

Anderson is coming off a 2015 campaign shortened by a torn ACL, but he'll have a couple weeks to practice in hopes of being ready for the regular season. He remains questionable for Week 1, but the fact he's returning to the practice field prior to the Colts' third preseason game leaves room for optimism. He'll likely be a limited participant moving forward, however, as the team won't risk his health until he's basically 100 percent.
