The Indianapolis Colts have activated defensive lineman Henry Anderson from the physically unable to perform list, head coach Chuck Pagano announced Monday.

Anderson missed all offseason activities and training camp work while recovering from the torn ACL that ended his rookie season.

After making an immediate impact in the nine games prior to the injury, the Stanford product's return to practice is a massive boost for the Colts heading into the fall.

Indianapolis will presumably work him into the mix slowly over the next few weeks. While it remains to be seen whether he'll be cleared for the regular-season opener, he certainly appears to be on track to regain his starting job alongside Kendall Langford and David Parry.
