Chicago Bears running back Jeremy Langford has shed the walking boot he was seen wearing at practice Saturday.

That Langford had to don the boot in the first place came as a surprise. He ran the ball eight times for 55 yards and a touchdown and added an 8-yard reception in Thursday's preseason game against the New England Patriots.

The diagnosis was a sore foot, the result of a player falling on it, but it appears the Bears' projected starting running back has made enough of a recovery.
