49ers' Jeff Driskel: Shows improved accuracy Saturday

Driskel completed six of seven passes for 66 yards against the Broncos on Saturday. He added nine rushing yards on two carries.

Analysis:

Driskel had a mirror performance of his preseason debut last week, showing improved accuracy on his throws but failing to generate much on the ground. He is currently handing backup duties while Colin Kaepernick (shoulder) is out. Once Kaepernick returns, Driskel will compete for the 49ers' third-string duties with the newly-acquired Christian Ponder during the team's final two preseason games.
