Browns' Austin Davis: Clears concussion protocol

Davis has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, ESPN's Tony Grossi reports.

Analysis:

Davis exited the Browns' exhibition opener with an injury to his head and subsequently missed the entire second week of the preseason. Fortunately, he should be a full participant in practice moving forward, but appears to have slipped to the bottom of Cleveland's QB depth chart. Consequently, he could be on the wrong side of the roster bubble when teams trim their rosters down to 75.
