Bears' Jeremy Langford: Suffers left foot injury

Langford was wearing a walking boot on his left foot at Saturday's practice, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Head coach John Fox stated that he thought Langford had his foot stepped on in Thursday's preseason game. As expected, Fox offered nothing in the way of specifics on the injury, so it's difficult to tell whether Langford wearing the boot is precautionary, or if it is protecting an injury that could cost him some time. After having an excellent game against the Patriots, he's currently looking like he'll be the clear lead back in Week 1 if his foot injury checks out well.
