Officials to interview Elliott's accuser Monday

Kamil Krzaczynski / USA TODAY Sports

Ohio officials will meet on Monday with the woman who accused Ezekiel Elliott of abuse in July.

The Columbus city attorney's office said Friday that it plans to complete the investigation by next week, at which point it will decide whether to file criminal charges against the Dallas Cowboys rookie running back.

Tiffany Thompson, a woman rumored to be Elliott's ex-girlfriend, posted a series of photos that showed bruises and included captions that referenced being choked and thrown into walls over a series of months.

Elliott denied the allegations, and has refused to speak on the matter ever since.

The NFL is reportedly also conducting its own investigation into the allegations.
