Ezekiel Elliott's long-awaited preseason debut may finally take place Thursday against the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones hinted Friday night.

Elliott, selected fourth overall by the Cowboys in the 2016 NFL Draft, missed the team's first two preseason contests due to a hamstring injury.

Jones is optimistic the Cowboys' prized rookie may be ready for the team's next game.

"It looks good right now. Obviously that's the goal," Jones said to Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News.
