Bears' Fuller week to week after knee scope

An already thin Chicago Bears secondary could be without one of its top players for at least the second half of the preseason.

Cornerback Kyle Fuller is considered week to week after recently undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, head coach John Fox announced Thursday.

That timeline doesn't indicate when Fuller can be expected to return, but does at least temporarily put his status for the regular-season opener in question.

Fuller, a first-round pick in 2014, is once again slated for a starting role heading into his third season.

Fourth-round rookie Deiondre' Hall will be among several young players given the opportunity to step into the lead spot opposite veteran Tracy Porter in Fuller's absence.
