Falcons' Matt Simms: Has solid preseason game

Simms finished 10-for-13 for 136 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's preseason win over the Browns.

Analysis:

Simms is battling Matt Schaub for the right to back up Matt Ryan, but it will take more than one decent performance to supplant the veteran. His stat line is encouraging nonetheless.
