Cowboys' Tony Romo: Expected to play Friday versus Miami

Romo (collarbone) is expected to play in Dallas' second preseason game versus Miami on Friday, DallasNews.com reports.

Analysis:

The last time Romo saw live action was late last November during Dallas' Week 12 matchup with Carolina. Shoulder and collarbone woes have sidelined him since then, but, not that there was a significant amount of concern regarding his Week 1 availability anyway, the quarterback is now all but guaranteed to be ready for the start of the regular season.
