Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller was near impossible to get in touch with in the weeks before and after Super Bowl 50.

Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated wrote a feature on Miller in which he reveals the Super Bowl MVP switched one of his two cellphones to airplane mode two weeks before the big game in an effort to stay focused.

Miller didn't change his phone settings back until a month after the Super Bowl, at which point he discovered he had 840 unread texts from everyone - from his jeweler to Drake to New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

He didn't respond, because anyone who really had to get ahold of him knew to call his mother, Gloria.

"It's always: 'I'm so-and-so ... Von told me to call you,'" Gloria said. "I'm like, He what?!"
