Elliott: Cowboys O-line gives me 'one of the easiest jobs in America'

Ezekiel Elliott knows he couldn't have landed in a more favorable situation.

In joining the Dallas Cowboys as the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft, the rookie running back has been afforded the opportunity to run behind the NFL's most dominant offensive line.

Such a supporting cast can make life easy for a talented, young ball carrier.

"I think I probably have one of the easiest jobs in America," Elliott said, according to Jon Machota of The Dallas News. "I get to run behind the best O-line in America."

Elliott is working his way back into the practice schedule after missing time with a hamstring issue.

All indications are he's on track to be at full strength in time for the regular season, though, making him the clear-cut favorite for a featured role in Dallas' backfield rotation.

With a pro-ready skill set that can be of use on all three downs, it may not be long before he emerges as the centerpiece of the offense.

Elliott racked up an impressive 3,699 rushing yards and 41 touchdowns over two seasons at Ohio State.
