Ravens' Joe Flacco: Says knee isn't quite 100 percent

Although his knee still isn't completely healthy, Flacco hasn't missed a snap in practice, ESPN.com reports. "My knee is not 100 percent, but it feels great," Flacco said. "I don't think about it when I'm out there. It's not perfect. I can feel it standing here right now a little bit. It's not totally normal. But, as far as going out there and operating on the field, running around and doing things, I don't pay attention to it."

Analysis:

Eight months removed from reconstructive ACL surgery, Flacco plans to wear a brace all season but generally doesn't seem too worried about his knee. He said he still hasn't talked to head coach John Harbaugh about plans for Saturday's preseason game against the Colts, which would seem to suggest the veteran quarterback is unlikely to play. Flacco figures to play in Baltimore's third preseason game, if nothing else.
