Steelers' Ladarius Green: Dealing with recurring headaches

Green (ankle) is dealing with recurring headaches, which further clouds a potential timetable for a return, Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL.com reports.

Analysis:

Green had ankle surgery earlier in the offseason and is currently on the team's PUP list. However, it appears the ankle is not the only thing holding him back, as he's dealing with headaches, which likely stem from multiple concussions he's suffered during previous seasons. His ankle is reportedly nearing a return to full strength, but a combination of the two ailments puts his preseason status in question. Green was expected to fill in for the recently retired Heath Miller at tight end, but a wait and see approach will now be followed until he makes his Steelers debut.
