Patriots' Julian Edelman: Exits Tuesday's practice

Edelman -- who just came off the Patriots' PUP list Sunday -- took himself out of a drill at Tuesday's practice after possibly aggravating a left foot injury, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

Analysis:

Though Edelman spent some time on the cart and took off his left shoe, he was able to walk off the field. At this stage, it's too early to know if this represents a minor setback for the wideout or something that could linger to the extent that Edelman's Week 1 availability comes into question.
