Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu is approximately two weeks away from returning to practice, head coach Bruce Arians confirmed Thursday.
Mathieu suffered a torn ACL during a December 20 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Prior to the injury, Mathieu recorded 89 tackles, five interceptions, a forced fumble, and a sack.
The 24-year-old signed a five-year, $62.5-million extension Tuesday, after earning first-team All-Pro honors.
Arians also said that Justin Bethel and Robert Nkemdiche will be back at practice in less than two weeks.
