Texans' Brock Osweiler: Feels comfortable first day

Osweiler said he felt comfortable Sunday during Houston's first training camp practice, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. "I felt extremely comfortable today," he said. "Whenever you're in a new system, and you go on summer break and come back for training camp, you don't know how much is really going to stick. I felt extremely comfortable calling the plays, hearing the plays in the helmet. We audibled a few times at the line of scrimmage."

Analysis:

Oswieler is eager to get started with his new team and new playbook. The quarterback isn't the only new element on offense. The Texans will have a new running back, a couple of new receivers and at least two new members on the offensive line. Osweiler and his teammates have a lot of work to do to become an in-sync unit. That process began Sunday. Now, they'll review the video, figure out what didn't work properly, and make adjustments to correct any mistakes.
