Rams place Tre Mason on reserve/did not report list

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Rams placed running back Tre Mason on the reserve/did not report list Saturday.

Mason rushed for 207 yards and a touchdown on 75 carries last season. The 22-year-old was eventually supplanted in the starting lineup by Todd Gurley, who went on to be named Offensive Rookie of the Year.

TMZ reported Tuesday that police have been called to Mason's house five times in a four-month span this offseason. Mason also missed a mandatory team meeting Friday.

Mason was selected in the third round of the 2014 draft after a prolific collegiate career at Auburn.
