Watch: Redskins' Cravens booed off stage, 'stoned' during rookie skit

Rookie skits are a time for veterans to force first-year players to either impress them with their talents, or suffer the wrath of the rest of the roster.

Washington Redskins' rookie linebacker Su'a Cravens was only one line into Usher's "Confessions" before the wrath was set upon him.

"Everyone likes Usher. I'm thinking this is easy money," Cravens said, according to ESPN's John Keim.

"I got the first line," Cravens continued. "'Booooo!' I was like, 'wow'. The first two acts in front of me, they sung. Everyone let them go. I'm like, 'OK, it’s going to be a smooth transition.' Soon as I start it's like, 'Booooo!'… I started and I'm getting paper balls, boos and, 'Stone him!'"

Tight end Niles Paul captured the "stoning" and tweeted it Friday. Cravens blamed fellow linebacker Will Compton for setting him up.

"Will had it out for me," Cravens said. "He told everyone to boo me before I even started."
