The Cleveland Browns have yet to name their starting quarterback for the 2016 season, but all indications are that this is Robert Griffin III's job to lose.

Griffin appears to be the clear front-runner after taking all first-team reps in the first practice of training camp on Friday, reports Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Joining the Browns this offseason finally gave the 26-year-old a fresh start after a fall from grace with the Washington Redskins.

While he'll certainly have to earn the lead role throughout the rest of training camp and preseason work to beat out veteran signal-caller Josh McCown, the snap allocation on Day 1 suggests the Browns are planning on him doing so.

Cleveland will hope that the opportunity to work within a Hue Jackson-led offense can help Griffin recapture the level of play he enjoyed as a rookie in 2012.

That season, the Baylor product earned Offensive Rookie of the Year honors after racking up 3,200 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and just five interceptions while leading the Washington Redskins to a playoff appearance.
