Bears' Kevin White: Having rookie-type struggles in camp

Despite being a 2015 draft choice, White is dealing with a rookie receiver's typical challenges, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

After White missed the entire 2015 campaign with a shin injury, he was unable to go through the training-camp reps that allow a young receiver refine his craft -- making him essentially a second-year rookie. He's specifically struggling with getting the play in the huddle, then reading the defense at the line of scrimmage to come up with a plan of attack. In addition, Jay Cutler has been urging White to run his entire routes at full speed. Although these are part of the learning process, fantasy owners shouldn't be expecting him to function like a true second-year player. He may still have a productive season, but expect White to have a distinct learning curve.
