Andre Johnson won't be calling it a career just yet.

The Tennessee Titans are signing the seven-time Pro Bowl wideout to a two-year contract after hosting him for a workout last week, the team announced Friday.

Johnson lands in Tennessee after a 2015 campaign spent with the Indianapolis Colts that stands as the most underwhelming season of an otherwise stellar career.

Despite appearing in all 16 games, and starting in 14, Johnson managed just 41 receptions for 503 yards and four touchdowns.

The 35-year-old is certainly no longer the dominant player he once was, and the Titans won't be planning on having him step in as a lead target. It remains possible that an injury to Andrew Luck contributed to his 2015 struggles, though, and his experience can be particularly valuable to a young Titans receiving corps, and second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota.

In joining the third AFC South team of his career, Johnson will compete for a roster spot alongside Kendall Wright, Dorial Green-Beckham, Rishard Matthews, Justin Hunter, Harry Douglas, and Tajae Sharpe in camp.

Johnson, a first-round pick in the 2003 draft, spent the first 12 years of his NFL career with the Houston Texans. He started all 169 of his appearances over that stretch, setting franchise records in receptions (1,012), receiving yards (13,597), and touchdown catches (64).
